Let’s just talk about the ending and skip the rest of the show. Well to be honest nothing much happened till the last few minutes where Natsume suddenly makes up his mind to tell Natori about the Yuujinchou.
The rest of the episode goes something like this. A famous exorcist dies leaving all his grand and worthy work behind but the thing is no one can find it. The place he used to live is a mansion and every room’s been searched but nothing came up. So the granddaughter who is bitter by the lack of love and attention from her grandpa opens the house to the exorcists and whoever can find the data can have it. Natsume and Natori visit the mansion. Natsume wishes to find some answers about the Yuujinchou, Reiko and Natori’s lizard mark and Natori’s more than happy to find the research. Matoba’s people are there too and they plan on buying the mansion.
As usual, a yokai hears about Natsume, being the grandson of Reiko and possessing the Yuujinchou, attacks him. Nyanko saves Natsume and Natori hear everything but pretends he didn’t. After thinking Natsume decides it’s time to tell an exorcist about the Yuujinchou.
I don’t know if it’s a good move or not. Maybe Natori’s trying to protect Natsume as we know the Yuujinchou attracts many unwanted yokais and Natori just wants Natsume to live a peaceful life BUT Yuujinchou belongs to Natsume’s grandma and it’s full of names of yokais giving it to anyone would be…
I don’t know anything anymore. I do know one thing, I’ll be really sad if Natori is revealed to be the bad guy.

I’ll also be really sad if it turns out Natori isn’t a friend. They’ve kind of hinted around the edges of him being up to something, but it seemed at the end of this episode like he genuinely did want to help Natsume. I love that this show doesn’t give us an easy reveal and makes us wait just that little bit longer to know.

we don’t have time to wait any longer because only 2 more episodes to go!! and God knows when will it come back. we were lucky enough to get the 6th season this early. *praying it also gets the 7th season and 8th and 9th and 10th – may this anime never end, Amen*
If Natori is the bad guy then I’m myself taking Natusme to Matoba. i’ll go full evil and destroy Natori and if he isn’t the bad guy then, of course, he’ll be loved.

That could be kind of fun (having Natsume work with Matoba to bring down Natori). Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.
Also hoping for a 7th, 8th, and every other season to continue to roll out forever.

but what if Matoba and Natori are in this together? Natori just pretended to be a friend and after finding out the truth heartbroken Natsume takes help from Matoba….
maybe I want the anime to just dip into some darkness. it’s playing safe since forever. that definitely doesn’t mean I have gotten bored. THAT’S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!! never!!

I wouldn’t buy Natori working with Matoba. From the episode we saw last season with young Natori, plus Natori’s encounters with the Matoba clan so far, it really doesn’t seem like those two would be able to collude.
